Support the Greater Chicago Food Depository Walk
Contact Kerry at Together We Cope to sign-up or to get information about supporting the 27th Annual GCFD Hunger Walk “Do it for Chicago” via the TWC Team account. Kerry is the TWC Hunger Walk Team Captain for 2012.
    Because of our membership in the Greater Chicago Food Depository, we are able to purchase food from the depository for extremely low prices.
     Your donation will be used only for food. Nothing else. When you donate to the Hunger Walk your donation will go into the TWC account at the GCFD and the next time we purchase food from the depository your donation will be used. Your donation to this year’s Hunger Walk will help people in the south suburbs of Chicago to eat regularly until they get back on their feet.
     To sign up and donate directly into Together We Cope’s food account at the Greater Chicago Food Depository - visit the TWC Team page on the Hunger Walk website and click the “Make a gift!” link. On this page you can donate $36, $84, $201, or any amount you like.
     The annual GCFD Hunger Walk benefits pantries, soup kitchens and shelters in Cook County that are members of the Greater Chicago Food Depository’s network. More than 845,000 people in Cook County are food insecure, uncertain of where their next meal will come from. Last year’s walk drew 9,400 participants and raised more than $500,000.
